Workshop on Awareness and Prevention of Stroke was conducted on May 7th and 21st partnering with South Asian Total Health Initiative(SATHI) of Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. The event was publicized by writing an article on “Rossmoor News” and promoting on local TV Channel 26.
World renouned motivational speaker M K Angajan delivered a talk on “Dynamics of the Mind” – excerpts published in Rossmoor News.

We organized “India Independence Day” at Monroe Township Recreation Centering partnering with Monroe Township India Day Committee. Mayor Gerald Tamburro hoisted the Indian national flaG and read out and presented a Proclamation.
Smile Meditation session was held at Clubhouse Maple Room with a view to improve health, self confidence, and develop and enrich one’s abilites.

A memorial Service was held for Director David Krieger who suddenly passed away on May 29th at the Meeting House.
Raja Yoga Meditation orientation session was held from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm at the Gallery. The event was widely published by an article on “Rossmoor News” and announcing on Channel 26(local TV). It was decided to conduct eight sessions on Saturdays starting the next Saturday.
Lunar New Year was celebrated at the Cedar Room/clubhouse. Guest Speaker from Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), Monroe talked on Sahaj Marg (Nature Path) Raja Yoga Meditation.

Conducted a tour of Akshardham temple at Robbinsville for the benefit of Non- Indians of Rossmoor. The program was published in Rossmoor News for June 2015.
NJ 350 – an exhibition on how Indians contributed to the culture and economy of the State of NJ for the past 350 years were presented by a travelling exhibit of 4-H Indian Langoor Club. South Asian American Digital Archive partnered and made a presentation. Lunch was catered by Crown of India Restaurant.
We conducted an event “Vasudheiva Kutumbakam” (World is one family) focusing on “Awareness and Prevention of Sickel cell disease” at the Crown of India Restaurant , Plainsboro partnering with Dr. Ramesh Pandey, CEO Ayurveda University, New Brunswick. This was followed by music concert by Jersey Rhythm.
Indian American Club conducts the first public event “India Republic Day” in a grand manner at Rossmoor Clubhouse Ballroom. A Joint Legislative Resolution recognizing Indian American Club is presented by Senator Linda Greenstein and assemblymen DeAngelo and Benson. 85 people including several dignitaries attended. Talks followed by a light music concert and buffet dinner follows.
Hon’ble Mayor of Monroe Township Richard Pucci issues a proclamation calling the attention of Monroe Township residents to the observance of India Republic Day on January 26, 2015 at our request.
Inaugural meeting of Indian American Club held at the Clubhouse Gallery.
IRS issues communication determining Indian American Club as a tax exempt nonprofit under Sec. 501 (c )3 Fifty members enrolled. Rossmoor Active Adult Community recognizes the organization as an independent club and extends all benefits entitled including free use of facilities at the Rossmoor Club house.
